I know you are working on a WS mount, but there may be another way to approach it. Chutingstar makes pretty good mudflap mount where you can attach pretty much everything. For digital altimeters, they have “digipouch” which is a small pouch with transparent window, and some velcro that goes around the “triangle” to keep everything attached.
So, maybe something like a digipouch but larger size to fit One, or modify a wristband to allow proper attachment?
I can send pictures of my wedge mount and digipouch, if you would like.
I created my own WS mount using a spare Dekunu wrist mount and a Mudflap. I gorrilla glue’d the fabric of the wrist mount to the mudflap and then reinforced it with some gaffer tape. Then just tuck the Dekunu into it to use - sits nice and solid as the One takes up all the slack in the wrist band. Been like this for a couple of months now and no sign of coming unstuck.
My only issue is that the screen for the One is quite reflective and often not that easy to read the altitude of when on a fixed angle - means I need to move my head in flight to get a reading depending on where the sun is.
Not the best pics, but hopefully you can see how I’ve put it together. There was some excess wrist band which I folded over the front of the mount and glued/taped under (you can see on first pic).
Interesting! I may work on adapting the wristmount into Chutingstar’s wedge mount. I used Digipouch today, but it just made the screen unreadable with too much glare.
I’m pretty sure I saw it on an instagram story and hinting at a new color casing So I hope its soon. I’d like to actually see the alti while I jump instead of just under canopy when I unzip the arm wing
I will let you know as soon as we have them ready for release, I believe I will have my hands on the very first complete mount tomorrow morning… just saying I already have my hands on the new colour bumpers and they are beeeeeeautiful
