Any news on firmware updates?

Dekunu are operating at a reduced capacity at the moment (see the top of this page) there will not be any firmware updates until normal operations resume
Can you please release the firmware source so we can fix problems ourselves for those of us who are able?

That is a very good idea, and I’d love to be able to save on my server to create my own web app. Unfortunately the one dekunu lacks some features.

Yeah, I wish to know the safety implications of that: hey Andy just released his latest commit of his code, check it out! Then guy with 100 jumps sees the altitude increase in freefall

I don’t think they can release it unless they closed the company. If I was dekunu I wouldn’t let people stain my image in the skydivers community by “fixing” my software. I wish we could at least flash the officially released firmware ourselves to resolve some of the issues.
Hopefully there is something in the pipeline that will allow users to “self server” our own data.
