Another battery saving suggestion, can we set a timer or time to have the alti automatically shut off? Perhaps if no jump has been made in a couple of hours, or have it shut off at 20:00 so it’s not dead in the morning if I forget to plug it in. An audible warning and popup message a few minutes before it shuts off would help make sure you’re not doing night jumps or coming off a weather hold without realizing your alti shut itself off. This would be another situation where caching the ground level air pressure for a short period could be helpful in case someone realizes in the plane that their alti has turned off.
This already exists, but the timer is similar to the auto power off of an AAD, after a long period without use
