Accuracy aid based on GPS direction vectors

I will be working on this myself on a small chest mounted MCU but this would be a great feature for One.

You would stand at the intened target prior to flight and select the current location as landing target as well as two turn altitudes (eg 500’ and 250’). Then the altimeter would let you know when to turn and based on computations of current direction vector whether you will overshoot, undershoot, land to left or right and therefore compensate to hit the target. Another useful display in a small corner of altimeter would show target as “+” and where you would land relative to it based on current 3D direction vector from GPS.
